The 5th World Congress of Total Intravenous Anaesthesia & Target Controlled Infusion (TIVA-TCI) will be held in Timisoara, Romania, from 28th to 30th of September, 2017 in conjunction with The 15th National Course of Guidelines and Protocols in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (GPATI).
This event will be organized by the Association for Anaestheisa Intensive Care “Aurel Mogoşeanu”, Timisoara in collaboration with the World Society of Intra Venous Anesthesia, Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, The University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Victor Babeş” Timişoaraand The Romanian Society of Emergency Medicine and Disaster.
The venue is the Regional Business Center (22 Eroilor Bd, Timişoara), a generous location that offers modern facilities for the organization of conferences and exhibition of specific medical equipment and drugs.
Just to highlight the progress registered in time, we will point out the fact that for the latest editions, the number of participants was constantly above 1400 medical staff – doctors and nurses, becoming the largest annual national event in our field of expertise.
The main purpose of this event is to provide guidelines and protocols for diagnosis, treatment and medical conduct, based on up to date international literature in the field, and at the same time their integration, application and dissemination at a national level.
This training program (under national guidelines and protocols) is open for doctors at all levels (academics, medical practitioners, MDs, specialists, residents) in the field of anesthesia, intensive care, emergency medicine and other specialties in areas of common interest. There is also a parallel section for the nurses in these areas of expertise.
