Dear participants,
Dear participants,
Following a long tradition I´m glad to return to Cluj-Napoca for our annual German-Romanian course. I want to thank Prof. Florian on behalf of all German participants for having adopted this course and having it again in your beautiful town!
During the years, Cluj has become a kind of a second home to most of our speakers. Each time we return to Cluj we are looking forward to exchange ideas, share knowledge with our Romanian friends, and enjoy your hospitality.
For this course “Vascular neurosurgery” both spine and brain is the main subject. With evolving surgical and endovascular techniques and improvement of our diagnostic tools this is a very demanding and rapidly evolving part of neurosurgery.
I´m looking forward to interesting lectures, intense and open discussions (and to the social program as well).
Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Piek
