{"id":15967,"date":"2024-04-03T12:08:24","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T10:08:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jurmed.ro\/medici\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=15967"},"modified":"2024-04-03T12:08:24","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T10:08:24","slug":"core-competency-in-endoscopy-skills","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/jurmed.ro\/medici\/eveniment\/core-competency-in-endoscopy-skills\/","title":{"rendered":"Core Competency in Endoscopy Skills"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_2\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_2  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_with_border et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_0  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DEAR FRIENDS OF GI ENDOSCOPY,<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_with_border et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_1  et_pb_text_align_justified et_pb_bg_layout_light\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<p>A prerequisite to start and follow through the endoscopy training is to have a supportive trainer and mentor to help you through your endoscopy training.<br \/>\nSo, here we are at the 4th edition of our training course\u00a0<strong>Core Competency in Endoscopy Skills<\/strong>!<br \/>\nOur invited experts are experienced trainers, approachable and willing to support you.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u00a0<strong>Core Competency in Endoscopy Skills<\/strong>\u00a0course is designed to introduce you to basic and advanced endoscopy skills.<br \/>\nSessions within this course include:<br \/>\n\u2022 Hemostasis for variceal and non-variceal bleeding;<br \/>\n\u2022 Basic and Complicated Polypectomy\/EMR \u2013 Deconstruct the approach to en-bloc and piecemeal cold and hot snare polypectomy;<br \/>\n\u2022 EUS FNA\/FNB: basic tehnique of EUS FNA\/FNB;<br \/>\n\u2022 EUS Collections Drainage using LAMS;<br \/>\n\u2022 Repair of Mucosal Defects: Endoscopic Closure of Gastrointestinal Perforations;<\/p>\n<p>Malpractice actions arising from gastrointestinal endoscopic care most frequently reffer to improper performance of the procedure and errors in diagnosis. Virtually all claims alleging an iatrogenic injury involve perforation, which in principle should be defensible if proper informed consent is documented. Our course will summarizes the basic elements of a malpractice suit and the relationships between iatrogenic patient injury and malpractice suits.
