If you wish to participate please select \u201cNeurodiab young investigators award\u201d, as part of the abstract submission process (please tick the relevant box in the section \u201ccategories\u201d).<b>ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A. General Conditions<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abstracts are required for all oral presentations and posters.<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts must be submitted before 31 May 2016 (23:59 CET)<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts must be submitted in English<\/li>\n<li>Accepted abstracts will be published in the programme\/abstract book and on the web page<\/li>\n<li>Withdrawal of abstracts can only be accepted if notified in writing and subsequently confirmed by the NEURODIAB 2016 Secretariat. It is only possible to withdraw an abstract until 14 days after notification of acceptance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>B. Presenting author and registration<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The presenting author must register as an active participant at the congress at the latest 14 days after acceptance of an abstract.<\/li>\n<li>NEURODIAB 2016 reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is not followed by a participant registration at the latest 14 days after notification of acceptance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>C. Contents of your abstract<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The abstract word limit is max. 250 words per abstract.<\/li>\n<li>The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study. Please write the abstract title in CAPITAL LETTERS with no full stop at the end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>The abstract must include the following:<\/b><br \/>\nAim: Clearly state the purpose of the abstract.<br \/>\nMethods: Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects clearly.<br \/>\nResults: Present your results in a logical sequence in text, table and illustrations.<br \/>\nConclusions: Emphasize new and important aspects of the study.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All abbreviations must be defined in first use.<\/li>\n<li>Statements such as \u201cresults will be discussed\u201d or \u201cdata will be presented\u201d cannot be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>D. Reviewing<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The executive committee will review the abstract.<\/li>\n<li>Notification of acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent to all authors by end of June 2016.<\/li>\n<li>It is the responsibility of all investigators that all studies are performed with respect to national legislation, international legislation and ethical guidelines both with regards to humans and animals.
